Characteristics of High Alumina Brick
a、Refractoriness
The refractoriness of high alumina fire brick is higher than that of clay brick and semi-silica brick, which can reach to 1750~1790℃, belong to high grade refractory material.
B: Refractoriness Under Load
Owing to high content of Al2O3 and less impurities of high alumina products, so the formed vitreous is less, so the refractoriness under load of high alumina refractory brick is lower than that of silica brick.
C: Slag-resistance Performance
High alumina refractory bricks contains high content Al2O3, is close to neutral refractory brick, can resist to the erosion of acid slag and alkali slag, owing to it has SiO2, so the ability of alkali resistance performance is weaker than the acid resistance performance.
